Dr. James Ascough
Dr. Ascough graduated from the Ohio State University, West Virginia University and the University of Georgia. While training, he worked at 8 state hospitals, along with many school systems, public clinics, and university clinics with a variety of clients.
His internship was at the world’s largest state hospital, 12,000 plus patients. He taught and supervised clinical training at the University of Georgia, Purdue University and the University of Washington. From 1980 to 2004, he was the Director of Child and Adolescent Services at Wabash Valley Hospital.
Now retired, he on certain days each week does psychological assessments. Most often, these are for Disability or for courts. Clients have ranged from 12 months (intellectual disability) to 92 years of age (cognitive problems in dementia).
Problems might include ADHD or diagnosis and conceptualization for appropriate therapy. He occasionally accepts clients for short-term behavior therapy or biofeedback. All services are private pay only. Dr. Ascough can be reached at 765-463-3016.
dr. shari warren, phd, hspp
Shari Warren, PhD, HSPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She assesses and treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other disorders. Dr. Warren’s approach is eclectic, but often involves a cognitive-behavioral component.
